Happy Happy Birthday to . . . . ME!

No, it’s not really my birthday — my birthday isn’t until March so you still have plenty of time to think of something wonderful to get me.  😉

But it’s my bloggy birthday!  Actually it was my bloggy birthday on Wed, but it went unnoticed.  I think WordPress should send a greeting wishing us a happy birthday when it approaches so that we don’t miss it.

But October 5 was my 2nd bloggy anniversary!  Or birthday or whatever.  Happy birthday to me!

It’s been fun and therapeutic to chronicle pieces of our life over the last 2 years.  I have made friends here that I never would have if not for my blog and the blogosphere.  You girls are such a blessing to me!

This might be a good time to view my first ever post from October 5, 2009.  And maybe check out a post from a year ago when Elliot biked to school.  Re-read a happy post from the last year; and remember a not-so-happy post from the past year.

  • Most traffic in a day:  (Feb 4, 2011) was 803!  Go figure!

  • Total views in 2 years:  63,266
  • Total posts in 2 years:  445
  • Total number of comments in 2 years:  1,690

And in honor of my TWO YEAR celebration, I want to end by saying TWO THINGS about my sweet, sweet family members — my most favorite topics of conversation and energy.  I love you!  But you already know that!  🙂

Paul

He is patient and supportive.  Two huge things that I so appreciate.  I love you, Honey.

Elliot

He is strong and wise.  His strength is not just physical but deeply in his character.  What a great kid!

Zachary

He is determined and compassionate.  He works hard and seeks justice with a vengeance.  I can’t get enough of him!

Chloe

She is beautiful and compelling.  Her beauty is outward but also true of her sweet spirit.  What an amazing little girl!

And thank you, Reader and Friend, for the opportunity to share my life with you.

What do ya say?   Up for another year??
