On Down the River . . .

Wow.  I just read a powerful post on another blog that I’d like to share with you.

Tanya talks about a festival in Thailand that her family took part in on vacation.  The festival includes sending a handmade basket down the river as a metaphor of sending all “the stuff” of last year down the river and turning around and walking away from it.

A new beginning.

I like the imagery.

Sending all the gunk on down the river and hanging onto the good and focusing on what’s ahead.

Thanks, Tanya!

  1. Kelly, thanks so much for the link, and I’m really glad you enjoyed the post. (Sorry I’m late in noticing this – having a full week!) Best wishes to you and yours.

    • Loved the power of the imagery! Thanks! And I’m pretty intrigued about how your son did SO WELL on your international trip!! Awesome! And promising, no?! 🙂
