Yard Work

My dear friend and neighbor (the same one who changed the water in the fish bowl) came and got Chloe today and took her out into the sunshine.  These two adore each other.  After playing around for awhile, Chloe was taught the skill of making mulch.

She learned to pick up the dry sticks left over from last year’s flower bed and break them into pieces.

She liked the sound and the feel of the branches snapping in her hands.

Snap!  Snap!  Snap!  <giggle>

Nothing like a child earning their keep by doing work around the house!  (And it counts as OT, too!)

After all that work, the girl was ready for dinner and a bath!

Now you just need to teach her how to pull weeds, spread fertilizer, mow, and edge.
